Fontanars del Alforins

There are two spectacularly beautiful routes to Fontanars  and we head there and back using both to take in the sheer beauty of the area known as the Tuscany of `valencia.

We can visit several vineyards, including those still using amphora (clay pots) to make some of Spains finest organic wines.

There is an option for coffee or lunch at a once Michellin starred restaurant (they gave it back) or one of several other fantastic eateries.

Agres

A ride to explore the lower valleys of the Serra Mariola National park and to visit the historic town of Agres with its many fonts of natural spring water.

We can visit the famous convent set above the town with its spectacular views of the town and valley below.

We can take lunch at the restaurant adjacent to the convent and for those feeling energetic, there's the option of a walk or ride to the Cava Gran ice caves and the summit of Pico Teix at 1250m.

Bocairent .jpg

Bocairent

The ride from Ontinyent to Bocairent is an all year round classic and this beautiful mountain town never disappoints visitors.

In Bocairent we explore the Magical Ruta oute , the Moorish Caves and the Hermitage proudly sitting above the town.

It's also an excellent place to purchase locally produced wines and foods.
