Day 1: Ontinyent
Arrival into Ontinyent from Valencia, Alicante or Madrid. Ontinyent is home to one of Spain's finest Moors y Cristianos festivals and is set in a privileged location on the Clariano river with different mountain ranges in every direction.

day 2 Bocairent
Our first full day will be a local ride in the beautiful Vall d'Albaida, vising the Serra Mariola National Park and the historic village of Bocairent, considered to be one of the most beautiful villages in Spain.
Ride: 80 to 100km
Day 3: Confrentes
we ride north from Ontinyent, passing the Serra Grossa mountain range, stopping in Mogente and Enguerra before continuing to Ayora. Our base for the night will be Confrentes.
There will be an optional riverboat cruise on the Jucar river, Spain's answer to the Grand Canyon.
Distance: 90km
Day 4: Alcala del Jucar
From Confrentes we ride the spectacular river and gorge routes to the beautiful town of Alcala del Jucar, in Castilla - La Mancha, having crossed the Valencia border.
If we take the shorter route, there's time to explore the town and gorge on foot from our hotel base. Intrepid explorers may wish to swim in the river.

Day 5: Cuenca
The Unesco town of Cuenca is considered one of Spain's finest destinations and we make it our base for two nights.

Day 6: Cuenca
We take a rest day to enjoy Cuenca's many charms, restaurants and galleries. Ride options and hikes are available, as is a much deserved day by the pool for those wanting to relax.

Day 7: Albarracin
Perhaps the most beautiful village in the whole of Spain?
Set above the Guadalaviar river in the Terual Region. this small ancient walled village totally lives up to the hype and never disappoints visitors.
We ride through the wonderfully remote Cajans and Cuenca National park to arrive in Albarracin, stopping at Nacimiento del Río Tajo monuments along the way.

Day 8: Javalambre
Did you know there were 2000m mountains in this part of Spain? The latest big mountain addition to La Vuelta Espana 2019, the summit of the Javalambre Observatory makes for a challenging ride, and an amazing descent.
Very few cyclists get the opportunity to ride this amazing climb and you'll be in privileged company to reach the summit.

Day 9: Utiel y Requena
After the previous day's exertions, we reward ourselves with a stay in Valencia's largest and best known wine region.
Distance: 85km
Day 10: Xativa
Our final day's ride takes us downhill to Xativa and its incredible castle high above the town where we've earned the right to indulge in a local craft beer or two at the cafe overlooking the town. We return to Ontinyent and Casa Sanz to complete our trip.

Extend your stay and challenge your self on some of Spain's best mountains like Xorret del Cati or Alt del Campello. Relaxed options are also available, such as the Gandia beach ride.
