A classic day of bike racing as the sprinter teams chased down the climbers who had got away on the Port de Carresqueta (one of our must ride climbs), bringing it all together for a sprint finish won by Matteo Trentin who came around Nacer Bouhanni on the line. Spanish favourite Valverde looking resplendent in World Champion colours too.
